Belk Holding 'Girls Night Out' April 17

Belk is offering a wonderful way for women to celebrate the end of a long hard week.

"Girls Night Out," a unique in-store party and fashion event will be held from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 17, in the Women's Store in Pinecrest Plaza.

Customers will enjoy treats that include fondue and strawberries.

Customers will also be treated to a dance exhibit by Pinehurst Dance Studio and live music from Glenn Davis.

In addition to a fashion show at 5:45 p.m., featuring all the latest spring styles suited for "girls" of all ages, Belk will offer a 20 percent discount on any regular and sale-priced purchases made that evening. Included are better sportswear, designer sportswear, accessories, shoes, dresses, fine jewelry, special sizes and intimate apparel.

Fashions will be modeled by stylish women from the Moore County area, representing "girls" of all ages. Models include Taylor Payne, Miss Pinecrest Hight School Class of 2010; Alexandria Smith, Miss Patriot Class of 2012; Angel Ocheltree, first runner-up, Miss Virginia; Carole A. Wunderlin, first runner-up, Ms. North Carolina Senior America 2008; and Beverly A. Wetherbie, Ms Senior America Virginia 2005.

Customers can also register to win $100 in Karen Kane merchandise, a pair of shoes from Kristen Davis, a Nine West handbag, a Chanel makeover and complimentary ring cleaning by the Belk Fine Jewelry Department.

Amanda Hunter, Karen Kane national style expert, will be on hand to help answer fashion questions. The cosmetic and fragrance experts are anxious to show customers the latest in spring colors and fragrances.
