Several phone calls have come into the office of The Pilot today asking for information about the television times for the Masters tournament.
So, here you go: ESPN is televising today's first round and Friday's second round. The tournament goes on the air at 4 p.m. and continues until 7:30 p.m. with live coverage on those two days. ESPN is also showing a replay tonight and Friday evening from 8 p.m. until 11 p.m.
Then on Saturday and Sunday, the coverage switches over to CBS. On Saturday, the first glimpse of the hallowed grounds of Augusta goes on the air at 3:30 p.m. and continues until 7 p.m.
Sunday, the final round, usually highlighted by the coverage of the back nine, has CBS going on the air at 2 p.m. with its coverage. The network is scheduled to cover the final round until 7 p.m. But you could probably bet your bottom dollar if a winner hasn't been decided by 7 p.m. CBS will stay on the air until all the action is done.
