St. Andrews Holds Open House Saturday

Prospective students and their families will come to St. Andrews Presbyterian College Saturday to learn more about what the college has to offer during an admissions open house.
The event begins at 9 a.m. with registration in the James L. Morgan Liberal Arts Building. This will be an opportunity to meet with members of the college community in the Morgan Jones Science Center to ask specific questions about possible academic majors and extracurricular interests.
A general overview session begins at 10 a.m. in Avinger Auditorium before participants are given the opportunity to attend a classroom experience with St. Andrews faculty members conducting a class specific to their field.
Student tour guides lead a walk across the scenic campus to explore various locations while also providing personal insights into what makes St. Andrews special.
The tour ends in the William Henry Belk College Center with lunch.
For those interested in the nationally recognized equestrian program at St. Andrews, a tour of the equestrian center is provided at 1:30 p.m.

St. Andrews offers an innovative interdisciplinary curriculum, a highly acclaimed college press, an award-winning pipe band, national champion equestrian teams, and first-rate scholarship program, a college news release said.
In addition to classes on the main campus, adult learners also choose the Center for Adult and Professional Studies opportunities through St. Andrews at Sandhills and St. Andrews Online.
