The Seven Lakes Business Guild will hold its second annual Chili Cook-Off and Street Fair from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. this Saturday.

The event is sponsored by Carolina Waste and will include entertainment and activities for the entire family, chili tasting and displays by local vendors.

At 11 a.m., the local band Caught Up will take the stage to kick off the festivities, and live music will continue throughout the day.

There is no admission charge to attend the event. However, souvenir chili mugs will be sold for $7 for unlimited sampling, as well as 50-cent tickets for 2-ounce tastes. Hot dogs and baked goods will also be available for purchase.

The rain date is Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m.
