Bode Chiropractic Center in Aberdeen is now offering SpineMED Decompression -- the leading nonsurgical, drug-free procedure for people suffering with chronic lower back and neck pain.
SpineMED performs a specialized procedure called spinal decompression, that is, unloading of the spine due to distraction and positioning. SpineMED is designed to restore health and hydration to damaged intervertebral discs and provide relief for patients suffering from spinal disc injury or degeneration.
"We're excited to bring this new conservative care option to our community," Dr. Justin Bode says. "It gives our practice a new treatment option for patients who have failed to find relief from other conservative therapies or who are facing the prospect of back surgery."
"Low back pain is a growing epidemic among industrialized societies," says Dan Monaghan, CERT Health Sciences. "In the United States it is the most common work-related disorder. The cost to industry is staggering, with estimates running $20 billion or more annually, and, as the population ages, the number of cases is likely to grow."
The SpineMED protocol consists of 20 sessions, lasting 30 minutes each. It gently targets injured spinal segments to provide precision distraction without the use of ropes, harnesses or pulleys.
Bode Chiropractic Center is now offering live demonstrations and free consultations of the SpineMED System.
Anyone needing more information or to arrange a demonstration can contact Bode at 695-1500.
