I rarely read Dusty Rhoades. I learned long ago that his columns were consistently irritating, but the one for March 29 caught my eye.

Too bad if Tammy Bruce said Michelle Obama was "trash." But Rhoades seems to forget that the attacks on Sarah Palin were extremely brutal and continuous.

There was no stopping the liberals from their nasty trashing of Sarah. But she is strong and kept her cool despite the viciousness and lies. She was to be destroyed in whatever way the job could be done.

If Palin can survive the vitriol she had to cope with for weeks on end, I think Michelle can handle being called "trash" once. Let her prove to the public that she has more class than that. Sarah took a great deal more abuse and still has class.
