Ruby Luck Hill, 81, of Aberdeen, died Saturday, March 28, 2009, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.

A private graveside service was held at Bethesda Cemetery.

A native of Randolph County, she was a daughter of the late Carl Lee Luck and Bertha Hurley Luck. She was a retired registered nurse and had worked at Moore Regional Hospital, McCain Hospital and St. Joseph's Hospital. Her husband, Robert Marshall Hill, preceded her in death.

She is survived by a son, Robert "Marty" Hill Jr. and wife, Margaret, of Fayetteville; sisters Gladys Aldridge, of Seagrove, Shelby Jean Logsdon, of Asheboro; granddaughter, Katherine Vlasov and husband, Andrey.
