Walter Godfrey Santilli, 71, of Pinehurst, died Monday at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, Pinehurst.

Mr. Santilli enjoyed golf, tennis, fly fishing and was an avid reader.

Services: private, to be held at a later date. Boles Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Survivors: his wife, Diana G. Santilli; sons, Jeffrey Carl Santilli, of St. Louis, Mo., Kenneth Neil Santilli, of Charlotte; sisters, Gloria Hawley, of Banning, Calif., Gail Harwood, of Elon, and Ellen Vaughn of Reston, Va.; one grandchild.
