Pinecrest is blasting its way towards a 3-0 start to its season.

In tonight's game against visiting St. Pauls, the Patriots roared to a 28-0 halftime lead. Pinecrest entered the contest sporting a 2-0 mark.

The Patriots got on the board both from the offensive and defensive sides. Pinecrest got touchdowns on a three-yard Jamel Verbal rush, a 23-yard touchdown toss to James Baldwin and a quarterback sneak by Ben Williams.

Defensively, the Patriots got a score on a 49-yard interception return by Jeff Hopkins.

Baldwin added two extra points on kicks, and the Patriots added a two-point conversion after their second touchdown.
