Because of the threat of Hurricane Hanna reaching the Carolinas on Friday, Pinecrest's varsity football game against St. Paul's has been moved up a day to Thursday.

The kickoff time for the game between the Patriots and the Bulldogs will be 7:30 p.m. at the John Williams Athletic Complex.

In other changes, Pinecrest athletic director Ernie Purnsley announced that the Patriot junior varsity team will travel to St. Paul's for a 7 p.m. contest today instead of Thursday as originally scheduled. Also, Pinecrest's varsity and jayvee boy's soccer home games against Lee County, that were scheduled for Thursday, have been moved up to today.
