Oudeh Is Better

Honestly, consider what Harris Blake (a state senator The Pilot endorsed) has contributed to Moore County. It is apparent that the only position he will represent is the Republican Party position and not the position of the citizens of Moore County.

Another term for Blake would be a continuation of much ado about nothing. In spite of being a "long-time Moore Countian," Blake has not brought any money here. In fact, he spends taxpayer dollars courting a country that is responsible for huge losses in American jobs, gross civil rights violations and sweatshops and child labor as well as the stifling of religious freedom.

The best indicator of one's effectiveness is how he handles his own money. Abraham Oudeh, Blake's opponent, has proven himself an effective leader, making commonsense, prudent and community-benefiting decisions. He has grown his business and is currently the employer of 175 people. This has provided not only a much-needed medical service to the community but also a necessary livelihood for families in the area. His employees have great job security. How careful do you think he will be with your taxes and interests?

Blake, on the other hand, admitted that he may have to cancel the health insurance benefits of his employees as he could not afford it (said at the League of Women Voters candidates debate in Moore County). How careful do you think he has been with your taxes and interests?

My grandma used to say, "That which bites you is within your own clothes." Moore County, that which is holding you back is from within your own county lines. Vote Oudeh for N.C. Senate and see what difference a change makes.
