Weichert Realtors Larose & Company is dreaming big this year for the 12th Annual Festival of Trees by donating and designing a Kid's Dreamhouse.

The auction begins with a premiere party Wednesday, Nov. 12, and concludes with a gala fundraiser Saturday, Nov. 16. Admission by donation days are Thursday, Nov. 13, and Friday, Nov. 14, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday, Nov. 15, and Sunday, Nov. 16, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

A "Meet the Designers" party is set for Thursday, Nov. 13, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

The playhouse is 5 feet by 8 feet and custom-built by Pattan's Construction Inc.

Special features of the playhouse include solid cherry wood flooring, bead board accents and window boxes.

Weichert Realtors enlisted the help of several businesses and individuals to contribute. Those sponsors of the playhouse are Builder's First Source, First Casualty Insurance Group, John Kaye -- All Labs, MSI-Millwork Specialties, Inc., Sandhills Turf, Willie and Sandy Huggins, Michael and Dottie Black, Aberdeen Paint & Wallpaper, Sandhills Siding, Warren and Lisa McSweeny, and Sandhill Signs.

The Kid's Dreamhouse is one of 200 decorated holiday items designed and donated by local area businesses and individuals, and all are available in a silent auction and Buy It Now.

All proceeds from the Festival benefit children with special needs served by Sandhills Children's Center.
