The Junior League of Moore County and Elliott's on Linden will be hosting an exclusive wine-tasting event from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 6, to benefit the Junior League's community programs.

Sample smooth chardonnays, sip spicy shirazes and taste hearty cabernets, all while enjoying delightful hors d'oeuvres as well as cooking demonstrations, live music, a silent auction and raffles. In addition, for avid wine collectors, there will be significant case discounts.

"Space is limited for this tasting, so get your tickets early for this fantastic fundraiser," says Brandee Bryant, fundraising chairman.

Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door. Elliott's on Linden is located at 905 Linden Road, Pinehurst.

Tickets are available for purchase through any Junior League of Moore County member or by calling Bryant, fundraising chair at (910) 585-1615. Tickets are also being sold at Prudential GOS Real Estate office locations in Pinehurst and Southern Pines.

"Enjoy a fun-filled evening and help the Junior League support the needs of children in our community through innovative outreach programs such as Kids in the Kitchen, a hands-on program that teaches children and parents about eating healthy, and the Junior League Academy for Success, a program that teaches young women life skills and encourages personal and professional development," says Bryant.
