Choose Right Change

I am reminded of the movie, "Greatest Little Whorehouse in Texas," when the governor said, "I love to dance and fool the people."

I am also reminded of the line in the movie, "Blazing Saddles," when Mel Brooks as governor said, "We have to protect our phony baloney jobs!" We are all fools to believe even one thing that any particular candidate says about what he will do when he takes office.

We currently have a charismatic man running, and the people are intoxicated by his smoothness and eloquence while he says nothing except, "I am going to balance the playing field through taxes"!

Tread lightly, we expect young folks to gather for the feast. We expect those who believe society has left them behind to rally to someone who tells them that he will give it to them, it will be free and they will not have to work for it to gather for the great letdown they always have.

Our issues are many and complex. Change we need, particularly at the congressional level. We do not need judges that will legislate from the bench. We do not need lawmakers who will take from the productive and give to those who believe they are disenfranchised.

We need a strong commander in chief who will build up the armed forces against the many veiled threats from terrorists, Russia, Iran and Venezuela in our own hemisphere. We need a leader with wisdom of the ages who will get great counsel from others without an agenda of personal immortality.

We do need change, and our only choice for that is McCain/Palin with help from a complete change of Congress.
