A Robbins man died Saturday in a one-vehicle wreck on N.C. 24.

Mark Travis Conklin, 27, was driving west on N.C. 24 when just past the intersection with N.C. 22 the vehicle he was driving ran off the right side of the road, went down an embankment and overturned onto its left side, partially ejecting Conklin, according to a state highway patrol report. The vehicle came to rest on its left side down the embankment. Conklin died at the scene.

Tony Glenn English, a passenger in the vehicle, was transported to Moore County Regional Hospital.
