Barry Miller, one of the four who picked the Browns, was tied with seven other players with 11 correct answers, two behind two players with 12 correct answers.
The Browns defeated the Giants 35-14.
Miller, a resident of Pinebluff, vaulted into a three-way tie for first place by selecting Cleveland and then snatched first place from the jaws of defeat, by missing the game's total score by a single point.
He finished ahead of John Robbins of Carthage and Kathy Latham of Vass. Robbins and Latham each picked the Giants in the Monday night game and Robbins outpointed Latham 41 to 40.
