Molly Rowell, chairman of the Greenway Wildlife Habitat Committee, will be at the Moore County Senior Enrichment Center at 10 a.m. Tuesday, with a presentation on the Pinehurst Greenway Trail.

"Learn about the plans for the pedestrian and bicycle trail that will extend for 20 miles when complete," says a spokesman.

Currently, five miles of trail have been completed, with the recent Phase IV addition.

The Greenway Habitat Committee is working to make the Pinehurst Greenway the place to learn about the native plants and wildlife that thrive in this area. The committee has been conducting surveys along the greenway in order to catalogue the diverse flora and fauna that can be found along the path.

Call 215-0900 to reserve a seat. The Senior Enrichment Center is located at 8040 U.S. 15-501, two miles north of the Pinehurst traffic circle.
