Originally from Delaware, I have witnessed for years the smooth-talking, low-on-substance demeanor of Sen. Joe Biden. Biden didn't disappoint me in his debate with Gov. Sarah Palin the other night. It's a shame that Palin is not an experienced debater, for surely she could have lowered the boom on the senator's credibility.

Joe Biden was not telling the truth relative to his support for the Iraq war. Biden danced around the Democrats' support for deregulation of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and Lehmann Brothers and had the nerve to allege deregulation of Wall Street and the current financial mess was solely the doing of George Bush and the Republicans.

As well, Biden nearly brought us all to tears with his assessment of the genocide in Bosnia and Darfur. Where is Biden when thousands of U.S. babies are killed each year through abortion ? I'll tell you where. He and Obama are with a woman's right to choose abortion as a form of birth control.

John McCain and Palin may not be world-class debaters, but they are straight-shooters and just what we need to lead America forward during the next four years.
