Thirteen was the lucky number this week. Three entrants selected 13 games correctly in The Pilot football contest. Places were determined by tie-breaker -- again.

This week's winner is Brad Robbins of Whispering Pines who edged Lori Houghtalins and Jennifer Britt for first place. Robbins had 49 points in the tie-breaker game of Bengals versus Cowboys. Total points in the game was 53. Houghtalins finished second with 45 points in the tie-breaker.

This is the first week we've had two ladies finish in the money. Congrats.

Thanks to everyone who tried to take the cash. This was a hotly contested week. Most competitiors finished with 11 or more wins. As for your intrepid sports editor, Tom Embrey, he finished with a meager total of nine this week.
