The Pilot Football Contest came down to tiebreakers again this week.
Bill Norris of Aberdeen and Dick Maag of Pinehurst each correctly picked 12 of 16 games.
Norris won first, thanks to his tiebreaker total of 42.
The tiebreaker game was Atlanta vs. Carolina. Carolina won the game 24-9.
Maag had a tiebreaker total of 46.
Third place went to Noah Lyons, who finished with 11 correct picks and nailed the tiebreaker total exactly with 33. Way to go, Noah!
Noah, however, is a relative of an employee, and is not eligible to win money. So, Danielle Wase earns third place money.
She also finished with 11 correct picks and nearly nailed the tiebreaker total with 32 total points.
Congratulations to all our winners this week.
The season totals will likely tighten up.
Lots of folks had 10 or 11 correct answers this week.
Oh, yeah, I almost forgot.
My pigskin prognostications were spot-on this week.
