Belk Cosmetic Department Holds Winter Coat Drive

Cold weather is just around the corner, and many Moore County residents will need warm coats.

Belk Cosmetic Department is once again sponsoring a winter coat drive for the Sandhills Coalition for Human Care.

Last year, Belk customers gave more than 300 winter coats to the Coalition.

"Beauty is a Warm Coat II," offers customers the opportunity to drop off coats for women, men and children, as well as other cold-weather related items in the box inside the Belk entrance near the cosmetic area. Donors can then visit their favorite cosmetic counter and make an appointment for a complimentary makeover and sample.

The program will start this Saturday and run through Jan. 15.

Anyone needing more information can call Angie Ennis, cosmetic area sales manager, at 692-6088, extension 250.
