Catherine Paris "Kay" Morrison, 87, of Southern Pines, died Sunday, May 25, 2008, at her home.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday, May 28), at Boles Funeral Home chapel, with the Rev. Mike Branscome officiating. Burial will be in Bethesda Cemetery.

Mrs. Morrison was retired from Carolina Telephone with over 30 years of service.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold D. Morrison Sr.; and a son, Daryl P. Morrison.

Mrs. Morrison is survived by two sons, Harold D. Morrison Jr. and his wife, Dawn, of Southport, and Daniel C. Morrison and his wife, Barbara, of Southern Pines; a daughter, Kathy Hernandez, of Houston; two sisters, Virginia Casey, of Florida, and Pat Wilson, of Southern Pines; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
