Moore County sheriff's deputies arrested a Vass teenager Sunday in connection with a statutory rape of a 13-year-old.

The Sheriff's Office received a report March 17 of a statutory rape in which the suspect was at least four years older, but less than six years older, than the victim.

Investigators arrested Dionicio Norato Dominguez, 18, and charged him with two counts of statutory rape and contributing to delinquency of a juvenile.

Dominguez was jailed with a $375,000 bond. His first court appearance in Moore County District Court is set for May 19.
