The Sandhills/Moore Coalition for Human Care, Inc. is expanding the hours of its recently remodeled resale shops located at 1117 W. Penn. Avenue in Southern Pines.

Expanded hours as of April 1, are Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon.

Volunteers are needed to staff the additional hours.

"Please consider sharing a few hours a month to help our Moore County neighbors in need," says Caroline Eddy, executive director. "Consider volunteering with a friend."

All proceeds from the resale shops go directly toward helping the Coalition's clients meet their emergency needs by providing food, clothing and financial aid.
