A section of Sugar Gum Lane will be closed from 8 a.m. Thursday until 4 p.m. Saturday while a failed stormwater culvert is replaced, according to the village of Pinehurst.

Both lanes of the road will be closed between the Lake Hills roundabout and Lake Forest Road Southeast.

Residents Lake View condominiums and the Braeburn "Treehouse" condominiums will still have access via Sugar Gum Lane, the village said. Residents in that area who need to access N.C. 5 are encouraged to take Lake Forest Road to St. Andrews Road to Linden Road.
