'Golden Rule'at Work?

Now, let's see. George W. Bush promotes himself as a devout Christian, pushing secular government tax revenues at faith-based charities and so forth.

As I recall from my early youthful exposure to Christian teachings, the Golden Rule was the very bedrock of church principles: "Do unto others as you would have others do unto you," or something similar.

Now Bush has taken his veto pen to a bill that would have prevented waterboarding as an interrogation tactic.

You don't suppose that, given the Golden Rule and the nation's interest in learning about his Iraq War lies, Bush would volunteer to -- naw, naw, not the Alabama runaway!
