The MANNA! In Motion 5K Race and One-Mile Fun Run, held June 7, was a tremendous success, with the participation of 151 runners. MANNA! would like to thank its 39 sponsor, volunteers, and all the participants who made their fundraiser a success.

MANNA! serves free lunches each week to approximately 400 people at five lcoations. The U.S. Census Bureau states that 10,556 people, including 4,000 children, in Moore County live in poverty.

Every day, 13.3 percent of our country's population struggles to buy groceries and make ends meet. This community's involvement and compassion are helping to alleviate hunger in our county.
