Fayetteville Symphony Orchestra Conductor Fouad Fakhouri has a talent for orchestrating more than just great music: he is also a fierce poker competitor and has orchestrated the FSO's First Texas Hold'Em Poker & Casino Night fundraiser scheduled for June 27.
"Come see the Maestro in action when he trades his baton for a deck of cards," says a spokesman. "Place your bets, enjoy food and beverages and win some great prizes, all while raising money for the Fayetteville Symphony Orchestra."
Casino Night will be held at the Eutaw Conference Center from 6 to 10 p.m., with a prize raffle taking place from 10 to 10:30 p.m. Admission tickets are $75 and include "funny money" and beverage tickets. A seat at the Texas Hold 'Em table is an additional $50. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Fayetteville Symphony Orchestra office at (910) 433-4690.
