Because of construction at Union Pines, the next two home games for the Sandhills Sand Gnats over-21 and over-35 men's baseball teams will be played at Pinecrest High School.
The change in venue includes today's 1:15 p.m. contest between the 21-Gnats and the Zebulon Orioles, and the 4:30 p.m. 35-Gnats game against the Fayetteville Mets.
Also affected are the June 8 games involving the 21-Gnats and Black Sox at 1:15 p.m. and the 35-Gnats and Carolina Cardinal at 4:30 p.m.
The 35-Gnats, 2-4 record, are coming off a win. The 21-Gnats, 1-4 record, picked up their first win in their last game. It is the first year for the 21-team, and the second for the 35-team.
The Sand Gnats are members of the Central North Men's Senior Baseball League.
