Deputies Seize Crack Cocaine, Arrest Three

Moore County sheriff's deputies arrested three Robeson County residents Tuesday, seizing 98 grams of cocaine in the process.

Derek Anthony Oxendine of Lumberton, Daniel Lee Cummings of Lumberton and Joanna Michelle Casey of St. Paul were arrested on Addor Road near Pinebluff, according to a press release.

Deputies also seized 24 grams of marijuana and $3,615 in cash. The estimated street value of the drugs was slightly more than $10,000.

Oxendine, 27, was charged with two counts of felony trafficking in cocaine, felony conspiracy to traffic in cocaine, felony possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine, felony possession of cocaine, felony possession with intent to sell or deliver marijuana, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and misdemeanor resisting a public officer.

He was jailed and his bail set at $210,000.

Cummings, 25, was charged with felony conspiracy to traffic in cocaine, and felony possession with intent to sell or deliver marijuana.

He was jailed and his bail set at $100,000.

Casey, 30, was charged with felony conspiracy to traffic in cocaine, received a $10,000 unsecured bond and was released.
