Indulge your botanical interest while enjoying an enriching stroll through the 32-acre Sandhills Horticultural Gardens on the campus of Sandhills Community College, Pinehurst. Designed and maintained by students in the Landscape Gardening program, the site contains 14 themed gardens. Open from dawn to dusk all week, located at 3395 Airport Road, Pinehurst.

The Sandhills Natural History Society meets the fourth Monday of each month at Weymouth Woods Auditorium. The next meeting will be held Monday, July 28. A potluck dinner and show-and-tell will be held. Guests are asked to bring a covered dish.
