Arthur "Art" Neil DuBois, 76, of Jupiter, Fla., died Thursday, July 10, 2008, at Jupiter Medical Center.
A Celebration of Life was held Sunday, July 13, at Taylor and Modeen Funeral Home, Jupiter.
A graveside service was held Monday, July 14, at South Florida VA National Cemetery, Lake Worth, Fla. The U.S. Navy presented military honors.
Mr. DuBois was raised in Jupiter, a son of a son of the pioneer families of that area. He later moved to Bowie, Md., and returned to Jupiter in 1995. He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving as a pilot in the U.S. Navy. He retired from the military as a lieutenant commander. Mr. DuBois later worked as a computer systems analyst for the U.S. Customs.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Valeria; five sons, David DuBois and his wife, Linda, of Pinehurst, Roger DuBois and his partner, Rob, of Greenville, S.C., Michael DuBois and his partner, Skip, of Alexandria, Va., Daniel DuBois and his wife, Pam, of Laytonsville, Md., and John DuBois, of Jupiter; and three grandchildren, Michael, Jennifer and Matthew.

Taylor and Modeen Funeral Home, Jupiter, assisted the family.
