Adrian Osborne ended his July 2 column with the following sentence, "I have a feeling that in Germany in the 1930s, there was a club called Jews for Hitler."

This is a very irresponsible and inflammatory statement that should not have been published. I lived in Germany throughout the 1930s and can assure Mr. Osborne no such club existed. I was lucky to survive, but unfortunately my father, grandmother and aunt did not.

I speak on the Holocaust and its horrors in Moore County schools, at colleges and civic organizations to portray my personal experiences and to convey that they should never happen again.

I invite Mr. Osborne to my next lecture so that he will understand the unbelievable terror experienced by many millions of people in Germany in the 1930s.
