Wesly Sattler, son of Church and Debbie McNeill Sattler of Powdersville, S.C., received his Eagle Scout Award Oct. 11. A member of Boy Scout Troop No. 210 and Venture Crew No. 210, he is the grandson of Clyde and Maxine McNeill of Robbins.

Sattler has been involved in Scouting since the first grade. He has earned 33 merit badges, held several leadership positions and enjoyed camping trips and activities throughout his years as a Scout. He attended National Youth Leadership Camp and received awards for conservation.

Sattler was honored with a Court of Honor celebrating his award at Bethesda United Methodist Church, followed by a reception.

He recently graduated, with honors, from Wren High School and plans to attend Greenville Technical College in the fall as part of the honors transfer program in mechanical engineering. He will transfer to Clemson University to complete his degree.
