Excellent Care

My mother was recently placed at St. Joseph's. I would like to take a moment and reflect on the quality of care that she receives as a resident there.
We were both apprehensive at first, since Mom had never stayed in a facility before. Right after she arrived, the hospitable atmosphere at St. Joseph's was apparent to both of us. I would like to thank Gina Monroe and the staff at St. Joseph's for always caring for my mom with respect and dignity.
Fun and competition are both integral parts of the exercise my mom received as she played Bingo. Group singalongs stimulated her memory and encouraged socialization. I clearly saw improvements in her overall health and well-being.
The facility has a "homey" feel that is atypical of a skilled nursing facility. Soft lighting and light wood furnishings are found throughout the facility environment, and it welcomes family members and caregivers. I am contacted frequently by the staff and nurses about Mom's progress, which only serves to reassure me that I'd made a good choice in finding a home-away-from-home for my mother.
So thank you, St. Joseph's, for being the kind and compassionate place you are.
