A joint memorial service will be held for Ken and Petey Shoemaker at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, at the Village Chapel in Pinehurst, directed by Boles Funeral Home. A reception will follow. Mr. Shoemaker died Nov. 21, 2008, and Mrs. Shoemaker on Oct. 30, 2008.
