Amanda Lee Adams and William Jon Ore, both of Pinehurst, were married at 6 p.m. Saturday, June 28, 2008, at Mid Pines Inn and Golf Club, Southern Pines. The Rev. Michael Garber officiated at the double-ring ceremony.

A reception, hosted by the bride's parents, was held at Mid Pines Inn and Golf Club.

The bride is the daughter of Scott and Karen Adams, of Fairfield, Conn. She is the granddaughter of Herald Spisak, of Port Charlotte, Fla., Robert and Anna Adams, of Fairfield, Conn., and Henry and Bea Bleggi, of Port Saint Lucie, Fla. The bride is employed as a teacher for Moore County Schools.

The groom is the son of Norbert and Mary Ore, of Marietta, Ga. He is the grandson of Dorothy Ann Neal, of Huntington, W. Va. The groom is employed as a PGA golf professional at the Country Club of North Carolina.

The bride was escorted by her father, Scott Adams. She wore a white, strapless A-line gown with lace overlay and a chapel-length train. She carried a bouquet of pink starburst lilies and pink tulips.

Kim Gunter, of Pinehurst, was the maid of honor. Liz Rainville, sister of the bride, of Stamford, Conn., and Kristen Blackwell, of Pinehurst, were bridesmaids. They wore strapless, A-line, sage green gowns with white sashes and carried bouquets of pink starburst lilies and pink tulips. Olivia Hucks, niece of the groom, of Rome, Ga., and Celine Bullock, of Carthage, were junior bridesmaids.

Norbert Ore, the groom's father, of Marietta, Ga., and James Ore, the groom's brother, of Fort Myers, Fla., were best men. Scott Adams and Eric Adams, both of Fairfield, Conn., and Clayton Quintana, of Fort Myers, Fla., were ushers.

Carson Gunter, of Pinehurst, and Amelia Hucks, niece of the groom, of Rome, Ga., were flower girls.

William and Matthew Hucks, nephews of the groom, of Rome, Ga., were the ring bearers.

Wedding music was presented by soloist Katie Lockamy.

April Gaster, of Sanford, directed the wedding.

After a wedding trip to Lake Tahoe, Calif., the couple reside in Pinehurst.
