J.L. "Bud" Eudy, 75, of Sanford, died Thursday, Aug. 28, 2008, at his home.

Mr. Eudy was born March 15, 1933, in Stanly County, a son of the late Joseph Lester Eudy and Berona Kiker Eudy. He was a U.S. Army veteran and was retired from Public Service Gas Company. He was preceded in death by his wife, Janie Fulford Eudy.

Funeral: 4 p.m. today (Sunday) at Grace Chapel, directed by Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home.

Burial: church cemetery.

Survivors: fiancee, Marilyn Allen, of Sanford; two daughters, Kay Eudy-Rivers, and Jennifer Holder, both of Sanford; four brothers, Sherrill Eudy, Royce Eudy, Billy Joe Eudy, and Bobby Eudy, all of Florida; five sisters, Evelyn Kelly, of Cameron, Jane Meggs, of Oakboro, Jean Barrlet, of Georgia, Patricia Rowe, and Carlene Holland, both of Florida; two grandchildren.
