Mabel Brown Allen, 88, of Robbins, died Friday, Aug. 22, 2008, at her residence.

Mrs. Allen was a native of Moore County and was retired from B.B. Walker, where she sewed at the mill.

Funeral: 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 24, 2008, at Browns Chapel Christian Church, directed by Phillips Funeral Home, Star.

Burial: church cemetery

Survivors: three sons, Bobby Allen Jr., of Hickory, Jimmie Parker Allen, of Ramseur, Stanley Morgan, of Robbins; two daughters, Mitzie Brown Reeder, of Laurinburg, Judy Carol Perry, of Seagrove; a brother, Lester Brown, of Rockingham; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
