Long-Term Care Symposium Set for Sept. 9

The Moore County Nursing Home/Adult Care Home Community Advisory Committee and the Department of Aging are co-sponsoring a symposium on "The Road to Culture Change."
The symposium will be held from 8:30 a.m. noon Tuesday, Sept. 9, at the Senior Enrichment Center on U.S. 15-501.
The symposium will cover such issues as: the forecast for senior population in Moore County; culture change -- what and why; person-centered approaches to long-term care and long-term care services in Moore County
Anyone with concerns or questions about long-term care for themselves or a loved one should plan to attend, says a spokesman.
Continuing Education credits will be available for Adult Care Home staff. For other disciplines, a certificate of attendance will be issued.

Registration deadline is on or before Sept. 2. Refreshments will be provided.
