Courtney Colette Childress and Timothy Graham Skibitsky, both of Southern Pines, were married at 4 p.m. Saturday, May 24, 2008, at Campbell House Garden in Southern Pines. The Rev. Lewis Blue officiated at the double-ring ceremony.
A reception, hosted by the bride's parents, was held at the Train House on the grounds of the Campbell House Garden.
The bride is the daughter of Neill and Kathy Childress, of Southern Pines. She is the granddaughter of the late Julian and the late Hazel Childress, and the late Geneva Doucette, all formerly of Carthage. She is a graduate of Calvary Christian School, Southern Pines, and currently attends the University of Maryland. She is employed by WST Industries, Sanford.
The groom is the son of William and Debi Skibitsky, of Sanford. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Skibitsky and the late Mr. and Mrs. John McDonald. He is a graduate of Avon Old Farms High School and Lehigh University, Bethlehem, Pa. He is the president of WST Industries, Sanford.
The bride was escorted by her father, Neill Childress. She wore a white satin, floor-length gown with a halter neckline, embellished with hand-stitched beading. She carried a bouquet accented with yellow daisies, ivy, and yellow-dusted white lilies.
Kelly Childress, sister of the bride, of Boone, was maid of honor. She wore a tea-length kelly green chiffon dress and carried yellow daisies and ivy with baby's breath accents.
William Skibitsky, father of the groom, of Sanford, was the best man. Lacey Skibitsky, sister of the groom, of Philadelphia, Pa., and Mason Chatfield, of Southern Pines, were ushers.
Emmy Benton, cousin of the bride, of Fayetteville, was the flower girl.
Debbie Childress, aunt of the bride, of Carthage, and Sherry Chatfield, of Southern Pines, were co-wedding directors.
After a wedding trip to LaPlaya Resort, Naples, Fla., the couple reside in Southern Pines.

The rehearsal dinner, hosted by the groom's parents, was held Friday, May 23, at Beefeater's Restaurant, Southern Pines.
