Jimmy Harold McInnis, 79, of Asheboro, died Monday, April 28, 2008, at Randolph Health and Rehabilitation.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 1, at Pugh Funeral Home chapel, with Dr. Richard Crider officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park.
A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today (Wednesday, April 30), at Pugh Funeral Home, Randleman.
Mr. McInnis was a native of Moore County and served a U.S. Marine during the Korean Conflict. For his military efforts, he was awarded a Purple Heart. He was a member of the American Legion Post No. 45, Asheboro, and the Lions Club of Randleman, where he was also a precinct chairman. He owned Jim's Barber Shop and Riverside Motors in Randleman. He was a Baptist.
Mr. McInnis is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Garren and her husband, Thomas; and a granddaughter, Hannah Garren, of Asheboro.

Pugh Funeral Home, Randleman, is assisting the family.
