Rosa Althea Chrisco Auman, 84, of Seagrove, died Friday, April 18, 2008 at her residence.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. today (Sunday, April 20), at Asbury Baptist Church, with the Rev. Joshua Hughes and the Rev. Clay Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family received friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, April 19, at the church.

Mrs. Auman was born in Moore County, a daughter of the late Calvin and Carrie Emily Bray Chrisco. She was a homemaker, mother, and member of Asbury Baptist Church. She retired from Luck's Inc.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Farrell W. Auman Sr.

Mrs. Auman is survived by two daughters, Linda Williams of Candor, and Cheryl Comer of Seagrove; three sons, Farrell W. Auman Jr., Terry Auman and Michael Auman, all of Seagrove; a sister, Mozelle Garner of Seagrove; and a brother, Grant Chrisco of Seagrove.
