Nick Picerno is a very close friend of mine. Approximately 19 years ago, he provided for me a "window of opportunity" in reference to a sales position with his municipal software company. He recognized qualities in me that I obviously did not see, and convinced me I could succeed in this challenge. With his support, we succeeded.

Nick promised I would own a "piece of the pie" should we ever have the opportunity to purchase all of the stock from our financial backer. He kept his word, and today I am one of the owners of Southern Software.

Nick is a man of strong character and integrity, and a man of sound judgment. These are qualities proceeding from his strong faith. Will he represent us well as our county commissioner? I answer with a strong, emphatic yes.
