A doll show is planned Saturday, March 31, at the Holiday Inn, I-95 South and 1944 Cedar Creek Road in Fayetteville.
The show is being promoted by Knight Shows and Events, which has shows in Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia. They are working with the Lafayette Doll Club, which will donate some of the proceeds to a local charity.
Dealers will be attending from more than five states, offering everything from rare antique dolls to used Barbies. Also available will be doll furniture and doll accessories, a visit with noted author and columnist Glenn Mandeville, and The Dolly Doctor.
The show and sale start at 10 a.m. and last until 4 p.m. with admission for adults $3, children under 12 admitted free.
UFDC Junior Doll Club members with card and Girl Scouts in uniform are admitted free.
There's plenty of free parking and drawings for door prizes every half hour.
Dealer applications are still being accepted, but the show is filling up. For more information call, Howard Knight at 803-783-8049, e-mail knightshows@hot mail.com or visit www.knight shows.com.
