Vanguard Breaks Ground
Vanguard Homes recently celebrated the ground breaking of Villas at Forest Hills, its newest community just inside the village of Pinehurst.
On the morning of Feb. 27, principals from Vanguard Homes, including Kip Guyon and Chris Stark, joined with local representatives and dignitaries to celebrate the opening of this significant project. Dozens looked on as dirt was symbolically moved, ushering the start of this undertaking.
The Villas at Forest Hills is the last piece of multi-family property to be established in the village of Pinehurst and includes 73 luxury town homes with two-car garages starting in the mid-$300,000 price range. These luxury town homes showcase upscale features, including desirable first floor master suites, gas fireplaces, vaulted and tray ceilings, plenty of storage, as well as fine detailing with trim work columns, and more.
At the Villas, Energy Star and green building practices have influenced the quality home design and products used in each home delivering superior efficiency and health benefits to all Villas home buyers, the company said in a news release.
The community was also developed to encourage outdoor enjoyment with sidewalks throughout and a beautiful common area with gazebo.
"Villas at Forest Hills will provide homes that improve the quality of life for residents and future residents of the acclaimed Pinehurst area, and are a great example of the progressive nature that is currently shaping today's Moore County," said Guyon, president/COO for Vanguard Homes.
Vanguard Homes is the exclusive builder of the Villas at Forest Hills and is committed to building a community of exceptional homes in a comfortable and relaxed environment, the news release said. Each home will exceed standard North Carolina Code and meet the government's strict guidelines of quality and energy efficiency proven through the Energy Star qualification program.
