Pinecrest picked up a big Mid-Southeastern Conference boys' tennis win Tuesday at Jack Britt.

The Patriots knocked off the defending conference champions by an 8-1 score. The only loss suffered by the Patriots came at No. 1 singles where Michael Pereira, the three-time defending conference individual champ, defeated Daniel Hall.

Hall got a measure of revenge when he teamed with Bradley Thwaites at No. 1 doubles to defeat Pereira and Aaron Duran in an exciting comeback win. Trailing 7-4, the Patriot duo stormed back to win 9-7.

Pinecrest is now 4-0 for the season, with all the wins coming in conference play.
