An opportunity for members of the community to meet new Pinecrest football coach Chris Metzger is planned for Pinecrest High School on Tuesday.

A Parent/Community Meeting at 6 p.m. in the Robert E. Lee Auditorium includes an appearance by Metzger.

Coach Metzger will be discussing his preseason program, his outlook for Pinecrest football and his overall program for the school's student-athletes.

Metzger, 36, comes to Pinecrest from Lely High School in Tampa, Fla. He compiled a 29-20 record in his four years at the school.

Joel County, Pinecrest principal, selected Metzger to take over the program in late February.
