Boychoir Concert

Benefits School

The American Boychoir Benefit Concert will be held Sunday, Jan. 28, at 7:30 p.m. in the Owens Auditorium.

All ticket donations benefit the Pope John Paul II Catholic School capital campaign.

According to a spokesman, tickets will be available at the door the day of the concert.

Sandhills Theatre Company will present Agatha Christie's "The Mousetrap," Jan. 26 and 27, at 8 p.m. at the Sunrise Theater in Southern Pines. There is a Sunday matinee on Jan. 28 at 2:30 p.m.

Chicken Dinner

High Falls United Methodist Church, located at Frieson and River Roads in High Falls is having a chicken tender dinner, Saturday, Jan. 27, from 4 to 8 p.m.

Proceeds will go toward the building projects.

Annual Meeting

Westmoore Volunteer Fire Department will hold its annual meeting at 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 29, at the station located at the corner of Dover Church Road and Dan Road in the Westmoore community.

There will be a business meeting and an election of three new board members to serve for the next three years.
