Joseph C. Cool, 62, of Cameron, died Monday, Jan. 22, 2007, at Central Carolina Hospital in Sanford.

The funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 26, at Miller-Boles Funeral Home Chapel in Sanford.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6-8 and Friday 4-6 at Miller-Boles Funeral Home.

Mr. Cool was born in Sinnamahoning, Pa., July 15, 1944, to the late Marion and Kathleen Foley Cool. He graduated from Cameron County High School and served in Vietnam with the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a truck driver for many years.

Mr. Cool is survived by his wife, Marge S. Cool; his son, Ron Bennion of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; his daughters, Angela Earle of Austin, Pa., and Sherry Bennion of Carthage; his brothers, Richard Cool of Emporium, Pa., and James Cool of St. Mary's, Pa.; his sisters, Carol Saylor of Philadelphia, Pa., and Lois Fischer of Ashville, Pa.; and seven grandchildren.
